BOMB BLASTS IN DILSHUKNAGAR, HYDERABAD - 21ST FEB 2013

Approximately 20 people have been killed and 50 injured in a series of blasts in a busy commercial area of Hyderabad this evening.

The explosions - at least two, possibly three, according to sources - took place at rush hour, five minutes apart, near a cinema in Dilsukhnagar, which has a large fruit and vegetable market.

Dilshuknagar is one of the most crowded places after koti in the city. The blast took place at the center of the town. one inside "Anand Tiffin Center" near "konark theater" and few more blasts at the Dilshuknagar bus stop, at "Venkatadri Theater" near one of the most crowded footbridges.

This is a very unfortunate situation and we request you to stay at home for next few days and avoid public places in the city.

May the souls of the dead rest in peace.

Sun TV Networks Limited, which is headquartered in Chennai, is one of India's biggest television networks with 32 TV channels and 45 FM radio stations primarily catering to an audience in the four southern languages of India. Their network includes channels covering news, entertainment, film, documentary and music.
